Genoa Family,
As we come to the close of this final school year at Genoa Elementary, I want to extend my deepest gratitude and best wishes to every student, family, community member, and staff member who has been part of our school community. While this chapter is ending, the impact of Genoa Elementary will continue to live on in the hearts and lives of all who walked through its doors.
For many years, we have been abundantly blessed to share life together as a close-knit school family. In a small school like ours, relationships matter deeply, and I am confident that each of you, like me, have formed lasting friendships here. These bonds are timeless, and the memories made at Genoa Elementary will continue to shape who you are as you move forward.
I encourage each student to be proud of and thankful for your heritage rooted in Genoa. Carry it with confidence as you pursue your education, build your families, and follow your future career choices. Each of you has been uniquely gifted with the potential to go far.
Serving as your principal for the past thirteen years has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Every student who has passed through the doors of Genoa Elementary holds a special place in my heart. As I reflect on our time together, I am reminded of the words of Scripture:
“I thank my God upon every remembrance of you.” Philippians 1:3 (KJV)
God bless each of you always.
With gratitude and pride,
Tony Clay, Principal
Genoa Elementary School
