GKMS is launching a new club aimed at helping students with homework and building good study habits. The After School Homework Help Club is designed to provide students with academic support from teachers and staff in a quiet structured environment. This program will operate as a drop-in model, allowing students the flexibility to attend as needed for assistance with their homework and classwork. This is an opportunity for students to: build and encourage good study habits, become organized, and encourage responsibility in completing assignments.

How to Join?
All GKMS families should have received an email about the club and a form to sign there students up. Once a parent/guardian has completed the Form, the student may attend any Homework Help session. Please contact the office with any questions.

Our seventh graders got moving and reading a few weeks ago! 📚👟 Through a walk-a-thon and reading challenge, they raised funds for their field trips — way to go!

The middle school band and choir traveled to Six Flags Great America for the annual Music in the Parks competition — and they rocked it! The band earned 3rd place and the choir brought home 2nd place, with both groups receiving excellent ratings. Congratulations to all the talented students and their music director, Mr. Lowe, on an amazing performance!
