We are currently looking to hire a few amazing, passionate individuals!
The positions we are hiring for are:

- Preschool Teacher* (full-time)

- Two year old / toddler Teacher* (Full-Time)

- School Age Room Teacher* (Part-time &/or Full-time)

* Please note that we are looking for teacher qualified per DCFS. This means an individual needs to have either a CDA, associates degree with a minimum of 6 ECE hours, many hours worked in child care (can provide proof) with 30+ college semester hours. Please reach out to the Center for more details.
Unfortunately at this time unless an individual has lots of experience in childcare, we need staff with teacher qualifications not assistants.

Today was the School Age St. Jude Trike-A-Thon ride!
They did great and as a center we have raised almost $4,500!

Thank you to Chief Smith for coming out to talk about bike safety and be a familiar face to our kids.

We have a few more days to raise money and the next ride is on Friday (parents, guardians and grandparents of current children are welcome to attend!)

Help us raise funds for St. Jude Childrens Hospital!
Each year the families of Walnut Street Daycare Center participate in raising money for St. Jude for 4 weeks.
The last week of the fundraiser we learn each day about bike safety and then end the week with a Trike-A-Thon!

We had a great summer and want to share some of it with you!
We enjoyed swimming, the ice cream truck, fishing, the sandbox, petting zoo, ball pits, a visit from Elsa, playing outside, playing inside, chalk day, the Frog Lady, field trips, reading, art, building with blocks and so much more!
From the classroom to the playground the children are experiencing and learning about the world around them everyday.
