School Age Parents:
Tomorrow, Thursday June 18th, our Swim day at the pool will be cancelled due to temperatures.
Instead, have your kiddos come in their pj's and bring a small blanket and stuffy. We will do a movie day with popcorn, ice cream sundaes, board games, and some crafts and science experiments!

Good news! If your child is in attendance at the Nurturing Center and you would like for them to participate in VBS, please sign the back bottom of the page and one of our teachers will walk them down to the church 😀

Good evening School-Age families!

Since tomorrow, June 10th is calling for extreme heat and rain/thunderstorms, we will be canceling our field trip to the 577 Foundation. We want everyone safe!

Please bring a swimsuit and towel for your child in the case we ha e a water day instead!

Parents:
There has been a cause of concern at the church end. The fire department is here assessing the situation. We have been ordered to evacuate. Will know more in 15 - 20 minutes if we need to close. If this happens, I will keep you updated and contact you all if plans are needed for you to pick your child up. Please check back here for updates.

All children are safe and accounted for.

A few updates:
Parents, please check to see if you have another's child's coat / jacket. We have a couple of children with missing coats / jackets. One is a pink Child's Place coat with a diamond quilting pattern with the other being a black old navy coat with the initials E.F. inside. If you find them, please return! We know how easy it is to accidentally grab another child's coat :) Most look the same!

School - Age Families: Summer paperwork is ready! Please stop in the office to fill out the forms :)

Our Foster / Adopt group is being rescheduled for next Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at St. John's UCC Genoa due to scheduling conflicts. See you all next Thursday!

Our next Adopt/ Foster Support Group meeting will be held on Thursday April 23rd starting at 6:30 p.m.
Please email [email protected] to rsvp so we can make sure we have enough food and drinks 😀
New families or families curious about the foster/adopt process are welcome!!!
Our last meeting before summer break will be thursday, May 14th at 6:30 p.m.
and will pick back up in September 😀

Our infamous Popcorn Fundraiser is being extended until Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
This popcorn is truly amazing and all proceeds will go to our playground and hallway remodel fund. Our playground and hallway remodel savings is getting closer to our goal!
We appreciate all of you for being a part of the Nurturing Center and your constant support. We wouldn't be us without you!
