A few weeks ago, students in the Senior Theatre Capstone wrote manifestos for the theatre they believe in. They then translated those manifestos into risograph prints and performances, articulating their beliefs in multiple media and iterations.
These photos are from the risograph workshop at the Wells Book Arts Center now housed at HWS. We are grateful to Mary Tasillo for teaching us how to use the medium.
Image Descriptions: As a whole, the images show senior theatre majors engaged in laying out text and images on 11 x 17 pieces of paper before they copied them in two layers to make multi-color, layered posters. The final photograph shows Tasillo and each student with their completed risograph print.
