Meet the counselors at the MHWC! Today’s featured counselor is Amanda Mosher, Student Clinician, MS Candidate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
Amanda is a third-year graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at Molloy College. She is currently practicing as a clinician under a licensed mental health counselor at the Mental Health and Wellness Center. She believes that counseling is a process that encourages individuals to open up physically, mentally, and emotionally to improve their way of life. She has experience working with individuals with anxiety and depression as well as intellectual disabilities. Amanda’s approach to counseling is an integration of Person-Centered Counseling, Mindfulness Approach, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
