It was a Fun Friday testing out our new Simon game in choir! Recognizing pitch patterns, noticing repetition of melodies, and anticipating entrances were all practiced in a super fun way! The best comment of the day? “Wait a minute - that was a Major Triad!” 🙌👍😊

Congratulations to Geneva South choir members Sawyer and Alannah on their acceptance into the 2026 Illinois All-State Junior Choir!! They were two of only twenty students from ILMEA District 9 who were accepted into the choir. We are SO proud of your accomplishment; you both represented our school and district with pride!!

Viking Voices got to have a picture with our impending Geneva South retirees after our Holiday Sing on Wednesday! We are very sad that this is the final Holiday Sing for Mr. Japlon, Ms. Beyer, and Ms. Hawks. We will miss them next year!!!

The Geneva South Viking Voices gave an amazing holiday performance for families on Monday of this week. Tomorrow, they will sing for the South staff to help ring in the holiday break! Thanks to all the parents, grandparents, siblings and friends who came out to support the students!! 🎅🏻🤶🏻⛄️❄️🎼🎹🎤

Tonight was the very first middle school choir concert for this awesome group of sixth graders at Geneva South!!! All of the students performed so well tonight and are showing huge potential for the rest of our year!!!
