Cornell Craft Beverage Institute - CCBI The CCBI exists to improve the quality and visibility of New York craft beverages. We ferment things! Enology.

The Cornell Enology Extension Lab exists to improve the quality and visibility of New York wines through workshops, applied research, and competitively-priced juice and wine analysis. Anna Katharine Mansfield is an Associate Professor of Enology, and supervises extension-related research, the EnoCert program, and B.E.V.-NY [Business. Viticulture.] Chris Gerling is an Enology Extension Associate,

and oversees the New York State Wine Analytical Lab (NYSWAL) and the Vinification and Brewing Lab. Chris also coordinates B.E.V.-NY, Cider and Distillation courses, and other outreach activities. Pam Raes manages the NYSWAL, Luann Preston-Wilsey manages the V&B, and Cortni Stahl aids in extension programming and cider outreach.

Cornell Grape Breeding Program 2026 Vines & Wines Field Day

Hosted at Cornell AgriTech

You are cordially invited to the Cornell Grape Breeding Program Vines & Wines Field Day. This event will include a tour of the breeding vineyards and a research wine tasting to see and taste some of our advanced selections in the program. We welcome your expert feedback to help us identify the most promising potential new grape releases and to guide future targets for the breeding program.
