🎶 Geneva City Schools kicked off the 2026–2027 school year with energy, encouragement, and a little music! 🎶

Mrs. Jami Seay, Superintendent, welcomed faculty and staff and introduced Mr. Vic Wilson, former Executive Director of the Council for Leaders in Alabama Schools, as our motivational speaker.

Mr. Wilson challenged everyone to find their own “walk-out song”—because why should baseball and softball be the only ones who get to have all the fun? ⚾🥎🎵

He reminded us that every educator brings a unique personality, purpose, and soundtrack to the work we do each day. From the classroom to the cafeteria, the office to the bus route, everyone has a role.

With plenty of laughter, great music, and meaningful encouragement, Mr. Wilson helped us begin the year on a high note. 🎤🎶

Here’s to a fantastic school year filled with purpose, teamwork, positive energy, and maybe a few dramatic walk-ins! 🖤💛
