• Provide assistance to beginning and established food entrepreneurs in New York City, promoting sustainable economic development
• Increase awareness, utilization and value of New York State agricultural products
• Serve as a metropolitan hub for food safety and product development education and research

Vision:
• Transdisciplinary perspectives into the urban food system helps identify

and address existing and emerging food safety and quality issues

What we do:
• Offer product testing services; development of schedule process
• Design and conduct outreach programs on topics of food safety and product development
• Foster sustainable food business development and product commercialization
• Facilitate ingredient and process technology transfer
