What an incredible Walk, Bike & Roll to School Day! 🚶‍♀️🚴‍♂️🛴 Our elementary schools across the district celebrated today in a big way! At Mill Creek Elementary, we want to thank the Elburn Countryside Fire Department for coming out to celebrate with us. Thank you to the students, families, staff, and community members who joined us this morning. It was inspiring to see so many participants choosing active transportation and starting their day with fresh air, exercise, and smiles. Events like this help build healthy habits, strengthen our community, and make the journey to school even more fun. Way to go, Geneva 304! 🎉

Twenty-five years later, the events of September 11, 2001, remain etched in our hearts. Today, we honor the victims, remember the families forever changed by loss, and pay tribute to the first responders whose selfless actions embodied the very best of America. May we continue to carry forward the spirit of resilience, compassion, and unity that emerged from tragedy.

🚍 Tomorrow is the first day of school in Geneva! 🚍

As students head back to classrooms, please help keep them safe by slowing down, staying alert, and stopping for school buses when required by law.

Passing a stopped school bus puts children at risk and can result in significant fines, license suspension, and other penalties.

Before your morning commute, take a moment to watch this short video that explains the rules and consequences of illegally passing a stopped school bus:

Let's work together to make the first day of school a safe one for every student.
