Arts for All St. Peter's Community Arts Academy is proud to offer Musical Beginnings, Dance, Piano, Guitar, Violin, Viola, Cello, and Voice lessons.

Our Community Choirs program has grown to comprise more that 100 members, divided into four distinct groups.
- St. Nicholas Choir (grades K - 2)
- Junior Choir (grades 3 - 6)
- Senior Choir(grades 7 - 12)
- Adult Mixed Choir

Today’s the day! The 2026–2027 Academic Year officially begins at St. Peter’s Community Arts Academy, and we’re so excited to welcome our students and families back for another year of creativity, learning, and growth. 🧡

Whether you’re picking up an instrument, stepping onto the stage, finding your voice, or exploring your creativity in a new way, we can’t wait to see what you accomplish this year.

🎹 An evening of music, artistry, and collaboration.

Join us for a special piano duet performance featuring Troy Slocum and Joe Pepper as they present an inspiring program of classical works for four hands at the piano.

Troy, a member of St. Peter's Community Arts Academy's piano faculty, joins accomplished pianist and piano technician Joe Pepper for a concert celebrating the beauty, precision, and expressive power of the piano.

This performance is part of Musical Moments, presented in partnership with the Geneva Public Library.

🎻🌟 SALTA Recipient Spotlight: Claire Crisanti!

We’re excited to celebrate Claire Crisanti, one of this year’s recipients of a Sue Adams Loves the Arts (SALTA) scholarship!

Claire has been playing violin for 4½ years and used her SALTA award to help attend a weeklong Suzuki summer violin camp at Ithaca College — an annual tradition she looks forward to each summer.

It was a busy week filled with orchestra, repertoire class, master class, fiddling, play-ins, concerts, and plenty of time making memories with friends. 🎶

“I always learn so much,” Claire shared about the experience.

When she isn’t playing violin, Claire also sings in the community choir at St. Peter’s and enjoys reading, riding her bike, spending time with her sisters — and anything and everything Halloween! 🎃

Congratulations, Claire! We’re so happy the SALTA Fund could help you continue learning, exploring, and growing as a musician. ❤️

🎶 Sing together, grow together! Our Community Choirs welcome singers of all ages, with weekly rehearsals and exciting performance opportunities throughout the year.

CURRENT STUDENTS: Take advantage of our choir add-on to receive a drastically reduced price when you sign up for choir in addition to one of our other programs. All SPCAA students can benefit from participating in choir. Choristers are taught music literacy and singing skills and receive training in all areas of musicianship.

4 age groups available:
- St. Nicholas Choir (grades K-2)
- Junior Choir (grades 3-6)
- Senior Choir (grades 7-12)
- Adult Mixed Choir

🎶 All choirs perform monthly. 🎶 Every four years, the Senior Choir transforms into the St. Peter’s Community Art Academy Tour Choir and members have an opportunity to travel to Europe to perform. Our next tour is happening February 2028!

❤️ The Heart Behind SALTA: Sue Adams

The Sue Adams Loves the Arts Fund carries forward the legacy of a remarkable woman whose passion helped shape St. Peter’s Community Arts Academy.

Sue Adams, alongside her husband, the Rev. James Adams, founded SPCAA in 2005. For nearly 20 years, Sue was a driving force behind the Academy, inspiring students, families, and faculty with her energy, generosity, and unwavering belief that every child deserves access to the arts.

Her commitment to inclusion and helping young artists succeed touched countless lives — and that spirit continues today through the SALTA Fund.

Every SALTA scholarship helps another student pursue an opportunity to learn, grow, perform, and experience the joy of the arts — a fitting tribute to Sue and the legacy she created. 🎶

🎶 What are the SALTA Awards?

The Sue Adams Loves the Arts (SALTA) Fund helps dedicated St. Peter’s Community Arts Academy students take their artistic studies beyond the classroom.

Through merit-based scholarship awards, SALTA supports students pursuing meaningful enrichment opportunities in music and dance — from summer camps and workshops to intensives, festivals, orchestra programs, performances, and more.

These experiences give young artists the chance to learn from new teachers, meet fellow performers, challenge themselves, and continue growing in the art forms they love. ❤️

We’re excited to introduce you to our SALTA scholarship recipients and share where their artistic journeys have taken them!

📅 Want to know your scholarship award before enrolling for the 2026–2027 Academic Year? Submit your scholarship application by August 31 to receive a decision before the school year begins on September 9.

Can't make the August 31 deadline? You can still apply! Scholarship applications are accepted at any time throughout the year. The August 31 deadline is simply for students and families who would like to know their award amount before enrolling.

What a way to end an incredible week of music! 🎷🎺

Our Jazz Band Camp students took the stage to showcase everything they explored throughout the week—from learning the fundamentals of jazz to building confidence through ensemble performance and improvisation.

We're so proud of the dedication and enthusiasm these young musicians brought to every rehearsal. Thank you to our talented faculty for sharing their passion and helping students grow both as performers and as collaborators.
