Needed a quick hat for our trip to Colorado and by (free pattern) was just the ticket! I held Recollect and Oh Dang together and the result is a light, toasty, squishy, and oh so soft dream of a hat. 10/10, would highly recommend!

Finally getting around to posting t my Sock Squad socks from March. Pattern is Mondim by Andrea Mowry. I think I finally figured out the key to a well-fitting fleegle heel for my foot, started an extra 1/2inch before the pattern states and the fit is 👌🏻! Now to start on April’s socks - three pairs down, nine to go! 🧦🧶

I was honored to test the pattern by .a.stitch for ! The Oh Dang lace is beautiful to knit with and I can imagine having several of these in my wardrobe!

When your hand knit socks perfectly match the rug in your bff’s guest room! 🤩 Yarn is Corriedale Twist from with some leftover Classic Sock for the toes. Pattern is Hedgerow Socks by and the combination of yarn and fabric is heaven!

And just like that we have no more children in the house. Happy 18th !

These are our neighbors and dear friends. On Monday their 17 year-old son was not feeling well, and what initially seemed like pneumonia quickly proved to be much more critical. He was airlifted to Lurie Children’s Hospital and diagnosed with myocarditis. Please keep them in your thoughts and, if you feel moved to do so, share or donate. Thank you 💚

Hot day, cool knit! Almost to the heel of my first and this pattern is FUN! Also incredibly well written with lots of support. I’m using my go-to sock needle, red lace size US 1 and some random sock yarn from my stash (not positive what exactly). I never thought I’d be recommending knitting socks flat but I will definitely be making more! I have some self-striping queued up for the next pair. TLDR: Try this pattern, two thumbs up! 👍🏻👍🏻

Scenes from a knitting lesson. Today we tackled sleeves, the tubular bind-off, and picking out the next project. I like to make sure that my students get the most bang for their buck which sometimes includes my handwritten cheat sheets! Shout out to shorties from for making the changing of sizes and circumference a breeze.

A day late posting but I did for yesterday. It’s now two years in a row that my public knitting has been at a basketball tournament, but probably the last time since my kiddo is a senior 🥺. Working on my by using dandelion (which sadly is discontinued) Hope everyone enjoyed some stitching wherever you were yesterday!

this morning! The “no hump” garter tab cast-on in pattern is a game changer for real. Seamless, smooth, and NO picking up stitches! Yarn is a luscious merino/cashmere/silk by from the fantastic shop (which I had the pleasure of visiting last weekend) Picture taken on the bleachers while watching P3 Hoops up their shootout record to 8-0. What a great way to kick off the holiday weekend!
