We had a botanist come out to prairie springs this morning who identified a state threatened plant called Eurybia furcata. This plant is more commonly called forked aster. It is native to the Great Lakes region and is commonly found in moist woods along streams. It is also included in the Center for Plant Conservation’s National Collection of Endangered Plants. 🌱
