🎉 Celebrating Mr. Whittington for National Principals Month! 🎉

Mr. Whittington leads with dedication, positivity, and a genuine commitment to our students and staff. One of the things that makes his leadership so special is the way he builds relationships with our student body. He makes an effort to connect with students and make them feel seen and valued.

And, of course, who could forget the Dad jokes on the morning announcements?! Whether they get a laugh, an eye roll, or a collective groan, they’ve definitely become part of the Dutchtown morning routine!

Thank you, Mr. Whittington, for leading with heart, connecting with our students, supporting our staff, and bringing a little humor to our halls each day.

Thanks for making every day a great day to be a Griffin!💜

Pass the Torch Tuesday🔥

Today we recognize history teacher, Mrs. Pam Middlebrook!

As a National Board Certified Teacher, Mrs. Middlebrook is constantly learning and reflecting on ways to strengthen her teaching. She continues to invest in her professional growth by attending conferences and even serving as a grader for last summer’s AP Social Studies exam. Her commitment to growing as an educator is truly inspiring!

Mrs. Middlebrook's dedication to service extends beyond the classroom as the sponsor for Youth & Government/Model UN. Through this program, her students have the opportunity to develop valuable speaking and civic engagement skills, including working together to pass bills and understand the processes of government. Most importantly, she inspires her students to want to learn more about civics and their role in the world beyond the classroom.

Mrs. Middlebrook is so much more than a great teacher—she is a great colleague, teammate, sponsor, and friend. We are incredibly grateful for the passion, knowledge, and heart she brings to our school community every day!

Thank you, Mrs. Middlebrook, for continuing to learn, lead, serve, and inspire!
