Good morning! 4-H Achievement Day was lots of fun and the kids did an awesome job with their song/chant! Our school took 1st place in school spirit, won 2014 4-H club of the year, and won 3rd place in the song/chant contest!

This has been a great year, I hope the kids enjoyed Achievement Day, and we look forward to seeing them next year!

The CORRECT date of our next 4-H meeting is this coming Monday, April 14th. I apologize for any confusion.

(Having children take the LEAP & iLEAP the same week has been exhausting--I must have subconsciously been dreaming about Easter vacation!!)

Our last 4-h meeting on the year is Monday April 21st! ONLY 4-hers who have met the requirements to attend achievement day should come to this final meeting. We will be discussing the details for achievement day as well as practicing our song and chant. Please have the children bring their copy of the song to the meeting =)

The deadline to turn in 4-h books & portfolio's is tomorrow!! Tuesday, March 25th!!! We look forward to seeing them =)

Portfolio's/project books are due in the office by Tuesday March 25th. Please have the kids leave their items in the 4-H shopping cart that will be in the office. They are welcome to drop them off before the 25th, but that is the absolute deadline in order to attend achievement day. Hope they have fun finishing these!!

Our next 4-h meeting is this Thursday (yes, the day the kids return to school).

***Please have your children bring their books & portfolios to school because this is the LAST time they will be able to ask questions or get help before they are due. Books & portfolios are due in the office no later than March 25th. This is THE deadline for ascension parish.

If your child would like to attend 4-H camp this summer, you must attend the mandatory meeting this Wednesday night (February 26th) at the 4-H building at Lamar Dixon. 6 p.m.

**There is additional information regarding the camp, rates, dates etc. on the Ascension Parish 4-H page.**

Our first summer camp meeting is right around the corner- Feb. 26, 2014 at 6 pm at the 4-H Office at Lamar Dixon! This is a mandatory informational meeting. Please bring $50 non-refundable deposit (camp is $180 total) and this form, filled out ( you can print it by clicking on the picture, click options, click download, click open, then print from your computer- we have a tutorial on Facebook! ) If you cannot print this form, that is ok! We will have forms available at the meeting! This camp is for 4-Hers in 4th, 5th, and 6th grades!
