Some of you may have already received the 2026 Crestwood HOA dues via email. For those who have not - you should get a version in the mail within the next week or so.
The 2026 dues are $70 for the year (which breaks down to $5.83/month). There have been some questions in relation to the increase. Hopefully this will help clarify some of the concerns:
-Dues have not been collected in three years.
-Maintenance costs and other general costs and fees have increased over the last five years by around 30%.
-There was no regular maintenance to the sign entrances or cul-de-sacs during that three year span so there is an initial cost to get them cleaned up, in addition to the cost of regular maintenance moving forward.
-As discussed in previous meetings, there was an increase to our insurance cost (necessary to have coverage for HOA). The premium increase also protects neighbors from potential liabilities on the over 14 acres of common areas throughout the neighborhood.
The board feels this is a fair and reasonable annual fee to help cover the costs with regular maintenance, improvements, and insurance. We are striving to keep dues as low as possible while continuing our proud tradition of being friendly neighbors in a well maintained, quality neighborhood.
