My name is Jordan Fifelski and I am the Owner/Director of The Owl’s Nest. I live in Ga***rd, MI with my husband (my rock and the reason why the Nest looks like, well a nest), 2 children (the crazy monsters that helped me decide to go in the childcare field) and my 5 critters (because owning an entire zoo is just too expensive - but some day). I graduated from Grand Valley State University with hig

h honors and a B.S. I have been in the childcare industry since I received my Group Home License in March 2018. I have attended many cohorts and received hundreds of hours of training. I also attended Mott Community College to earn my CDA (Child Development Accreditation). All of my hard work and dedication to the childcare field is wrapped all in this hub of a nest - I call The Owl’s Nest. Something that I never thought I could do, but here I am. I would not have it any other way. I have had the opportunity to care for some really awesome kids and even more, I get to be a part of their awesome families. As I move forward I invite you to be a part of my page. My hope is to offer tips, tricks and trades of the childcare industry for those looking to get started in the childcare field. For those who have children in daycare. If you are a parent enrolling your child in daycare for the first time - I get it! I once had to take my first born to daycare and I cried everyday… which is why I am doing this job…to make it easy for the parents. Because I know leaving your child so you can make a living is hard and the guilt can weigh heavy on you. Let me help you lift that weight or at the very least spot you. We are in this together!
