A tremendous amount of work, learning, collaboration, and planning has taken place across Ga***rd Community Schools to prepare for the 2026–27 school year. Our staff have been busy getting classrooms ready, learning together, strengthening our practices, and making plans to support every student.

Our GCS Transportation team is committed to getting our students to and from school safely each day. As we begin the 2026-2027 school year, here are a few important reminders for our bus riders:

☑️Wait for the bus to fully stop and listen for the air brake before approaching. Do not approach until the door opens.

☑️Watch and follow directions from your bus driver at all times.

☑️Stay seated and face forward, especially while the bus is moving.

☑️Use quiet voices when talking with others.

☑️Be at your bus stop a few minutes before your estimated pick-up time.

☑️During dark mornings, using a flashlight or phone light to help the driver see you at your stop can be very helpful.

We are excited to welcome our students back! Thank you for reviewing these reminders with your children and helping us make every bus ride a safe and positive one.

2025-26 Ga***rd High School Yearbook Distribution

Yearbooks will be available for pickup in the Ga***rd High School Commons on:

Wednesday, August 26 | 9:00 a.m .– 3:00 p.m.
Thursday, August 27 | 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Anyone who purchased a 2025-26 yearbook may pick it up during these times, including members of the Class of 2026.

Unable to make one of these pickup times? Email [email protected] to arrange another time.

A limited number of extra yearbooks will be available for purchase after the start of the school year.
