We have been doing a daily Advent this December. Everyday we learn about a person from the Bible that has contributed to the Christmas story. Its such a great way to remember the true reason for the season.

Happy Veterans day!
Every year in November we make and donate art to a local hospice facility for Veterans. Its such a great way for the kids to show their love and appreciation for our Veterans!

We had the pleasure to host Marshall and Sky from the Paw Potrol, spider girl, and a cow this Halloween! We had so much fun at our Halloween party. We did some pumpkin bowling, created sun catcher bats, and played a "what's in the bag" game. Making memories with Betty's friends!

We are still looking for a buddy to join out crew!
We are a faith based daycare. We learn about prayer and read bible stories weekly. Our days are filled of themed activities, art projects and lots of play. We love being outside and learning through play. Our group is small as I like to be able to give every child the attention they need.

We made leaf color wheels and took them on a leaf hunt. Perfect for talking about the changing colors. We also talked about the different shapes of leaves we see!

I thought it was time to introduce myself. My name is Sarah Krystyniak. I am the owner and operator of Betty's Friends Daycare. I have 2 daughters, Betty who is 3 and Bernice who is 1.5. I started babysitting for family friends when I was 10 years old! Since then I've worked in many child care centers and preschools. All while I worked on my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood education. I have always loved working with little ones.

This week at Betty's Friends Daycare we learned about the Tower of Babel. Then we built our own towers. It was lots of fun to build them up and watch them fall.

This week we talked about the parable of the wandering sheep!
