We are incredibly proud to announce that Gatlinburg-Pittman Junior High has earned TWO Level 5 recognitions for our TVAAS scores!

This achievement reflects the hard work of our students, the dedication of our staff, and the support of our families and community. Our teachers pour their hearts into helping every student grow, and our students continue to show what they’re capable of when they put in the effort.

We are thrilled to announce that Mrs. Brigitte Dyer and Ms. Kristin Keen have been named Gatlinburg-Pittman Junior High’s Teachers of the Year!

Mrs. Dyer teaches Special Education and goes above and beyond every day to support her students and colleagues. Her compassion, patience, and dedication make a lasting impact on everyone she works with.

Ms. Keen teaches 9th Grade English Language Arts and is known for her creativity, high expectations, and passion for helping students grow as thinkers and writers.

Both of these incredible educators are truly deserving of this honor, and we are so proud to have them as part of our GPJH family.

Please join us in celebrating Mrs. Dyer and Ms. Keen for their outstanding commitment to our students and school community!

A big CONGRATULATIONS to GPJH 8th grader, Stephen Whaley, on his 4th place finish at the TMSAA Cross Country State Championship Meet! He is now an All-State Athlete! 🏆
