Today the Gatesville Chamber of Commerce had the honor of taking the Gatesville Chamber Junior Ambassadors to Ft. Cavazos as a reward for their community service to the Gatesville community!

Congratulations to our graduating seniors! 🎓 We will certainly miss you and wish you all well!

It’s Senior Sunday! 🎓

Meet Cayleigh Coursey. Her parents are Chris and Tracy Coursey. Cayleigh is a Senior at Gatesville High School and she plans on attending Temple College for her Associates Degree, Tarleton State University to pursue her Bachelors in Animal Science, and finishing at Texas A&M University for her Masters in Agriculture Education. Cayleigh has been heavily involved in various organizations and leadership positions throughout her time at Gatesville High School such as FFA Chapter President, Student Council Executive Board Treasurer, GCOC Junior Ambassadors, and 4-H where she has served as a leader on the club, county, District 8, and state level! She has also been involved in athletics and has been a member of the GHS varsity soccer team.

We are so thankful for Cayleigh’s commitment to the Gatesville Chamber of Commerce. She has helped to grow business and build community! We are very proud of her and wish her success in her future!

It’s Senior Sunday! 🎓

Meet Bethany Penrod. Her parents are Eric and Suzy Penrod, and she has two sisters Grace (19) and Ally (16). Bethany is a Senior at Gatesville High School and she plans on attending the University of Texas at Austin this fall. Bethany has been heavily involved in various organizations and leadership positions throughout her time at Gatesville High School such as Class Secretary, National Honor Society, Student Council Executive Board Vice President, GCOC Junior Ambassadors President, Gear UP Youth Congress, and PAL's. She has also been involved in athletics and has been a member of the GHS varsity soccer, cross-country, and track teams. Her favorite hobby's are reading and spending time with family and friends. Bethany plans to major in Business to eventually become an entrepreneur.

"I am blessed that God lead me to Gatesville. This community has provided me with so many friends and opportunities that I wouldn’t trade for the world. I know that no matter where life takes me, I can always find home in this town.”
