**SCHEDULE OF EVENTS FOR THIS WEEKEND - SOME EVENTS START TONIGHT**

Hey everyone! Happy New Year!!

Let’s talk 10-year reunion this fall. This is a UIL realignment year and districts will be announced February 3. Within a day or two the athletic secretary will know when homecoming is slated.

So my question for y’all is do we want the reunion to align with the homecoming game by waiting until early February or go ahead and schedule for a different weekend?

Tag our peers and let’s make a decision by January 15th.

Please keep in mind two things, 1) by going with the weekend of homecoming, we have some ideas in the funnel for the weekend’s events and 2) please begin to consider how much you would like to donate toward the weekend festivities.

Additionally, if you have anything you’d like to potentially encorporate into the weekend, please comment that as well.

Talked with the athletic secretary this weekend and she mentioned with the search for a new head football coach, the schedule is subjective to the new district and the new coach. As soon as I know, I will let the group know.

It is with great sadness we share the news of Kindle Perkin’s passing. Kindle was one-of-kind with a heart like no other! He will he greatly missed by all that knew him. May he Rest In Peace.

A PayPal money pool will be created in the near future and proceeds will go directly to the family to assist with any needs unmet.

Kindle’s services are set for tomorrow, September 16th, at 10 AM at Scott’s Funeral Home in Gatesville, Tx.

Kindle Perkins, age 28 of Gatesville, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021 in Gatesville. Funeral services will be 1000 a.m. Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Scotts Funeral Home with Rev. Classmates, it is with an even heavier heart that we share with you the passing of another one of our own, Bobby Barton. Bobby had a contagious smile and was friend to many. Bobby was an expectant father. He will be greatly missed. Prayers for his family and friends.

It would be a kind gesture and token of love that we send a spray of flowers.

Other things to consider, we will need some volunteers.

A group of people to outreach to fellow classmates.

A group in charge of finances and donations for a silent auction so we can establish some class funds to use for bereavement gifts, scholarships, etc.

A group that gathers contact information, creates a website and promotes the event.

A group that researches potential venues and vendors.

A group that plans activities and entertainment.
