We are the career and technical center for Scott County Public Schools located in Southwest Virginia. From game design to greenhouses, we've got it!

We offer a wide variety of programs to prepare students for a career in many different fields.

We still have some amazing plants left! We are done selling on Saturdays, but we will remain open during the week M-F from 1-3:30. We hope to see you soon!

Vegetable wise, we have these left:
Hot banana peppers (Hungarian yellow wax)
California wonder bell peppers
Cayenne peppers
Jalapeno peppers
Sweet banana peppers
Red Goliath tomato
Red Brandywine tomato
Sunny (yellow) Goliath tomato
Orange Brandywine tomato
and Marigold flowers

Flowers wise, we have way too many left to list, but plenty of hanging baskets, ferns, geraniums, and many many bedding plants!

We sincerely thank everyone who came out to support our students and school at our annual flower sale this past Saturday. It was a beautiful day and an incredible turnout!

We also want to remind everyone that we will continue to be open Monday through Thursday from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. and this Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 for those who couldn’t attend or for anyone who would like to purchase more flowers.

A huge shoutout to our talented students in Horticulture Science and Landscaping for their hard work, dedication, and creativity in bringing everything together. From planting to presentation, their efforts truly shined!

We’d also like to recognize our amazing teachers, Kaden Kilgore and Samantha Sexton, for their guidance and commitment to helping our students grow, both in and out of the classroom.

Spring is finally here, and the plants you’ve been waiting for all winter are ready to make their return! Our greenhouses are full and coming to life! Blooms are opening, colors are popping, and everything is shaping up beautifully for the season.
This year, we’re bringing you even more of those big, full ferns and vibrant geraniums you love, along with a wide variety of bedding plants and vegetables. You’ll find favorites like begonias, New Guinea impatiens, lantanas, sweet potato vine, spikes, coleus, mandevillas, succulents, and tons of other varieties and more to fill your garden and outdoor spaces.

It's getting mighty close to time 👀 This drone maneuvering was done by our technical drawing instructor. Did you know students are able to learn how to operate drones in our technical drawing class? It's just one of the many things we have to offer!

It's only two days until the 1st Annual Makers & Growers Festival! This Friday (Sept 26) and Saturday (Sept 27) at the Scott County Career and Technical Center there will be fresh produce, crafts, food trucks, and some fascinating things for the whole family! We would like to thank everyone for a great first couple days of our Flower Sale, but the greenhouses are still bursting with good looking plants. Come see us!

Remember that we are open today, April 16th from 1 to 3:30 and will be open Saturday, April 19th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We will also be open multiple days next week and beyond, so keep your eyes open for updates on times and dates.

Although Saturday may be a little cooler, Sunday promises to usher in warmer weather, setting the stage for a week of milder, more pleasant weather ahead. This should ensure that plants bought Day 1 will be safe. In order to take advantage of the widest selection of beautiful plants, come and see us Saturday, April 12th.
