YES 4th grade classes conducted an experiment today, "Egg In a Bottle," where they worked on observing independent and dependent variables with how high/low air pressure masses are with Mrs. Templeton and Mr. Hank in Science today!

The 4th grade students enjoyed a presentation about the Jamestown Settlement from one of their own today in VA Studies class! Miss Emmie presented a PowerPoint on Google Slides that she created herself, from a family vacation to the Jamestown Settlement! She talked to her classmates about the history of the original fort, the ships, archeological digs, artifacts, the Jamestown church, famous statues, and her favorite parts of the museum! She even asked SOL related questions to her classmates as she was presenting as a review! Miss Emmie may just be ready to take over for Ms. Carter in the future!🙂

HOCO day #4 (super hero or twin day)

YES 5th graders have been watering and observing their own lentil seeds this week to learn about plant parts and processes. Every 5th grader did a great job checking on their seeds daily and discussing their plant's progress with peers. We may have some budding green thumbs in our school! 🌱
