Webb Street School

Good evening, Webb Street Spiders! 🕷️💙 This is Principal Williams with your Sunday message!

This past week, Webb Street was full of smiles and laughter as we welcomed community members from Leadership Gaston to campus. They had the opportunity to see all of the amazing things our students learn, create, and accomplish each day. We are so proud to share our students and our school with our community!

We also received several generous donations to our One Can Make a Difference Food Pantry, which will help us restock our shelves and continue supporting our Webb Street families. Thank you to everyone who continues to donate and support this important resource!

Our halls have been filled with beautiful music from Mrs. Casey’s music classes, and our students have been creating some amazing artwork with Mrs. S in art. There is always something exciting happening at Webb Street, and we are so proud of our terrific team and all they do for our students! 💙

📸 Fall Pictures & Senior Cap and Gown Pictures
Fall pictures and Senior Cap and Gown pictures will be taken on October 13th. Please check your child’s Tuesday folder for pre-order information.

🎃 Annual Trunk or Treat
Mark your calendars for October 27th from 5:30–7:30 PM, or until we run out of treats! We will soon share a sign-up for families and staff who would like to participate by decorating a vehicle and handing out treats. If it rains, we will move the event inside.

🥫 Pantry Donations Needed
Please continue sending in non-perishable food items to help keep our pantry stocked. We are also collecting laundry detergent, shampoo, and body wash to support our pool program.

Thank you for being such an important part of our Webb Street family. We are grateful for our students, families, staff, and community partners who make Webb such a special place to learn and grow.

Have a wonderful evening, and remember… Every Player Matters. Every Student Counts. Every Day is Game Day! 🕷️🏈💙

🕷️ Hello, Webb Street Spiders! 🕷️

This is Principal Williams with your Sunday message!

We had another busy yet fulfilling week at the Webb! Holly and I can tell that our students are getting back into the groove with school schedules, routines, and expectations. Thank you for all the support you provide at home to help our students have a successful transition back to school. We appreciate you being such an important part of the Webb Street family! 💙

📚 No School Tomorrow – Labor Day
Just a reminder that there will be no school on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. We hope you enjoy a relaxing and well-deserved day with your families!

🚗 Car Line Update
Please remain in the order in which you arrive in the car line until a staff member or the officer directs you to pull around another vehicle. Our biggest priority is keeping everyone safe, especially our students as they move from the sidewalk to their vehicles.

If you need your student to come out sooner, please park your vehicle and come to the front door. We will get your student to you as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work together to keep our car line safe and efficient for everyone!

Have a wonderful, relaxing holiday! We will see everyone on Tuesday, September 8, ready for another great day of learning, growing, and shining at the Webb! 🕷️💙

🕷️ Good evening, Webb Street Spiders! 🕷️

This is Principal Williams with your Sunday Message!

It was another great week at Webb Street! Our students in the Transition Program spent time outside preparing our raised beds, sensory garden, and other shared spaces for fall planting. 🌱🥕🌻 We can’t wait to watch everything grow and to share pictures of the beautiful flowers and vegetables with you!

Our students are settling back into their school routines, and things are running smoothly throughout the building. We are so proud of how well our students and staff are adjusting to the new school year!

A few important reminders as we head into the week:

🩵 Please keep students home if they are experiencing any of the following:

Fever of 100.4°F or higher
Vomiting
Diarrhea

Students may return to school once they have been symptom-free for 24 hours.

📅 Mark Your Calendars!

Monday, September 7: Labor Day Holiday — No School
Wednesday, September 16: Teacher Workday — No School for Students

Thank you to our families and staff for your continued support, communication, and partnership. We are off to a great start, and we are excited for another wonderful week of learning, growing, and making a difference!

Good evening, Spiders! 🕷️💙

I hope everyone had a restful weekend after our return to school last Wednesday! It was so wonderful to have our students back in the building and to see their smiling faces. They truly make Webb Street a special place!

As we begin another great week, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our bus staff, families, and students for your patience, understanding, and grace as we worked through transportation schedules last week. We made some significant changes to our bus routes this year, and we know that adjustments can come with a few challenges. Our drivers and monitors are working hard each day to make sure every student gets home safely and as quickly as possible.

If you have questions or concerns regarding transportation, please don't hesitate to contact the school. We are always happy to help!

We will also continue accepting donations throughout the school year for our One Can Make a Difference Food Pantry. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference for our Webb Street families. 💙

Most importantly, remember that we are a team! When families, students, teachers, support staff, transportation staff, and administrators work together, we create the best possible opportunities for our students to learn, grow, and succeed. We may have a few bumps along the way, but when we work together and keep our students at the center of everything we do, there is nothing our Spider family can't accomplish!

Let's make it a GREAT week, Spiders! 🕷️💙
