Good evening Panther Families!

Check the important dates in your emails. There is no school tomorrow (Monday- Memorial Day Holiday).

We will have our 5th and 3rd Grade Awards Day on Tuesday. Awards Day is a very special time for all of us as we celebrate our children. Your child’s teacher will be in contact with you, if your child is receiving an award. Please contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions or concerns.

Wednesday is the children’s last official day of school unless they are eligible for the End of Grade Enrichment Tests. On Wednesday, we will dismiss at 12:00 pm.

You can see that we will have our End of Grade Enrichment Tests on Thursday, June 2nd in Reading for 4th and 5th Grade eligible students. On Friday, June 3rd, we will have our End of Grade Enrichment Tests in Math for 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade eligible students.

Not every year are we able to give a second opportunity to retest but this year we are granted a 2nd chance. If your child was not proficient on the End of Grade Tests, they are eligible. They received a letter notifying you that they were not proficient. Please fill out the letter and turn it back in to your classroom teacher. Please contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions or to see if your child is eligible. Many students were simply 1 or 2 questions away. Now that they got a feel for the assessment, I believe MANY students will be able to cross the threshold and really ROCK THAT TEST!

Have a wonderful weekend and remember GOOOOO Panthers!

Good evening Pleasant Ridge!

Students, I must say how PROUD I am of your hard work. Tomorrow, we will take our 5th Grade Science End of Grade Test. You're really going to rock that test!

Parents, remember to make sure our children get to bed early between 8:00 and 9:00 pm. We need our children well rested and on campus by 7:45 tomorrow morning. Remember, the Tardy Bell rings at 8:00 am but this will help us have a smooth start to the day. If your student needs breakfast, they can grab that breakfast on their way up to class at 7:45. A good healthy breakfast helps wake the brain up!

Make sure you encourage our children in the mornings. They really have been working hard and I'm so proud of their work ethic. They've come a long way since the beginning of the year. You should be really proud of our children.

Have a wonderful rest of the day and remember GOOOOO Panthers!
