Good evening Lingerfeldt Wildcats,
This is Ms. Cabe with important updates. This is an abbreviated week due to family conferences on Thursday and teacher workday on Friday. We are excited to announce that we will host the book fair this week as well. Students have the option to purchase items during their scheduled classroom visit or families can come in on conference day between 12:30-6:30. Cash and cards are accepted. Please make sure you have confirmed your time you are meeting with your student’s teacher. Families, please support us by reminding your students to keep their hands to themselves.One of the highest priority is getting your student to school on time and are present the entire day. Please make an effort to drop them off by 7:20. If not, a family member has to come in and check them in tardy. They are missing instructional time and breakfast. No pick ups/check outs after 2:00. Also, please make sure if your student is a car rider that you are here to pick them up by 2:45. Staff is able to leave at that time and there is no one to stay with your student. Please make sure you are checking your student’s homework folder each night as well.

3rd grade Math Interim Assessment (county assessment)

It is a half day due to Parent(Family) Teacher Conferences. Students will be dismissed at 11:15. Please make sure someone is home for the early dismissal. Families may visit the School Book Fair after their conference appointment.
Friday
No School for students due to teacher workday

Upcoming Dates
-October 29-Lingerfeldt’s SPOOKTACULAR Family Night 5:30-6:30. We will host fun family activity stations and end with students getting a bag of sweets if they crack the codes! RSVP forms will be sent home Tuesday (Oct 13).
-October 30-Dress as your favorite book character day. Students may wear their costumes. No face paint, mask , weapons, bloody and nothing that goes against the school dress code.

Buenas noches, Lingerfeldt Wildcats,
Soy la Sra. Cabe con actualizaciones importantes. Esta semana es más corta debido a las reuniones familiares del jueves y la jornada laboral del profesorado del viernes. Nos complace anunciar que también organizaremos la feria del libro esta semana. Los estudiantes pueden comprar artículos durante su visita programada al aula o las familias pueden venir el día de la reunión entre las 12:30 y las 18:30. Se acepta efectivo y tarjetas. Por favor, asegúrense de haber confirmado la hora de su reunión con el profesor de su hijo/a.Familias, por favor, apóyennos recordándoles a sus hijos que no toquen a los demás.Una de las prioridades más importantes es que su hijo/a llegue a tiempo a la escuela y permanezca allí todo el día. Por favor, haga lo posible por dejarlo/a antes de las 7:20. De lo contrario, un familiar tendrá que venir a registrar su llegada tarde. Se perderá tiempo de clase y el desayuno. No se permiten recogidas ni salidas después de las 2:00. Además, si su hijo/a viene en coche, asegúrese de estar aquí para recogerlo/a antes de las 2:45. El personal puede irse a esa hora y no hay nadie que pueda quedarse con su hijo/a. Por favor, asegúrese también de revisar la carpeta de tareas de su hijo/a todas las noches.

Evaluación intermedia de matemáticas de tercer grado (evaluación del condado)
Jueves
Se trata de una jornada reducida de medio día debido a las reuniones de padres y maestros. Los alumnos saldrán a las 11:30. Por favor, asegúrense de que haya alguien en casa para la salida anticipada. Las familias pueden visitar la Feria del Libro Escolar después de su reunión.
Viernes
No hay clases para los alumnos debido a la jornada laboral del profesorado.

Próximas fechas
-29 de octubre- ¡Noche familiar espeluznante de Lingerfeldt! De 17:30 a 18:30. Organizaremos divertidas estaciones de actividades familiares y, al final, ¡los estudiantes recibirán una bolsa de dulces si descifran los códigos! Los formularios de confirmación de asistencia se enviarán a casa el martes 13 de octubre.
30 de octubre: Día de disfrazarse de tu personaje literario favorito. Los estudiantes pueden usar sus disfraces. No se permite pintura facial, máscaras, armas, sangre ni nada que infrinja el código de vestimenta escolar.
