FIRST GRADE -AWARDS DAY:

First Grade Awards Day at Lingerfeldt Elementary School was a GREAT celebration of learning, growth, and achievement ! Our students worked hard all year long, and we were excited to recognize their accomplishment positive attitudes, and determination.
From academic success to outstanding behavior and leadership, our first graders truly SHINED bright. Families, teachers, and staff came together to celebrate the many milestones our students reached during the 2025-2026 school year.
We are so PROUD of each and every student for their hard work, perseverance, and ROARING success. Congratulations to all of our award recipients -- keep believing, learning, and growing!!!

Good evening Lingerfeldt Wildcats,
This is Ms. Cabe with important updates. Can you believe that it is our last week of school? I am so proud of our students and staff. We have had an unbelievable year. Last week was full of Sweet treats, dances and end of year celebrations. We are not completely finished yet. Tomorrow is our last day of retesting. Also, we have our 3rd-5th grade award ceremony on Tuesday.These last two weeks, we have been so PROUD of our students. Most are working their hardest and we expect good GROWTH from many of them. This year, report cards and end of year reports will be sent home with students instead of being sent in the mail. Yearbooks are being sold until they run out. Cost is $25. Send cash to homeroom teacher. They can be purchased online at buytheyearbook.com using school code 733331. We have a very busy week of school so please look over the dates below.Here is what is happening this week at LES

Les habla la Sra. Cabe con importantes novedades.¿Pueden creer que es nuestra última semana de clases? Estoy muy orgullosa de nuestros estudiantes y personal. Hemos tenido un año increíble. La semana pasada estuvo llena de dulces, bailes y celebraciones de fin de año. Aún no hemos terminado del todo. Mañana es nuestro último día de exámenes de recuperación. Además, el martes tenemos nuestra ceremonia de premiación de 3.º a 5.º grado. Estas últimas dos semanas, hemos estado muy ORGULLOSOS de nuestros estudiantes. La mayoría se está esforzando al máximo y esperamos un gran CRECIMIENTO de muchos de ellos. Este año, las boletas de calificaciones y los informes de fin de año se enviarán a casa con los estudiantes en lugar de enviarse por correo. Los anuarios se están vendiendo hasta agotar existencias. Buses will run late for the next 3 days due to high school exams. Some routes will be about 25-30 minutes late, but these are not exact times.

Hello Families,
Bus 512 & 68 will be combined and late today. We found out at 1:50 they were running late due to exams at the high school. However, we were not given a time frame of when the bus would arrive.
The bus left around 3:00 pm, so students will arrive home later.

Bus 512 and Bus 68 will ride together this morning due to a driver being absent. 512 bus students will be picked up about 10 minutes early and 68 bus students will be picked up about 10 minutes late. Students will ride on bus 512 this morning.

Good evening Wildcat families,
I want to say thank you to all of the K-3 families that attended our awards ceremony today. We truly appreciate your support. It was a great day at Lingerfeldt due to Anna’s Sweet Treat Truck visiting!! Just a reminder that K-2 has their dance on Thursday and 3-5th grade on Friday. The theme is Electric Glow Party. It will be from 1-2. We are asking students to wear white or bright colors and bring in glow sticks., bracelets, etc . Also, tomorrow is our first day of Retest for 3rd -5th grade. I hope everyone has a great night and Go WIldcats!!!

El tema esFiesta luminosa eléctrica. Será de 1 a 2. SHOW UP - SHOW DOWN ATTENDANCE COMPETITION:...

“Show Up for the Showdown” at Lingerfeldt Elementary School means that every school day matters. Just like a big showdown or championship game, students must be present and ready to give their best effort each day.

When students show up to school consistently, they build strong learning habits, gain confidence, and stay connected with their teachers and classmates.

Attendance is the key to success because every lesson, activity, and opportunity helps students grow academically and personally. At Lingerfeldt Elementary, “Show Up for the Show Down" encourages students to be committed, responsible, and ready to shine every single day.

After 5 weeks of hard work and dedication, Mrs. Ramkissoon's,
2nd Grade class received their popcorn treat for winning the Show Up SHOW UP - SHOWDOWN ATTENDANCE competition. This competition was held between all grade levels, to prove which class had the BEST ATTENDANCE and Mrs. Ramkissoon's,
2nd grade class (R' Rockstars), really SHOWED UP.

A HUGE SHOUT OUT and CONGRATULATIONS to Mrs. Ramkissoon and the R' Rockstars!!
