β€οΈπŸ’›πŸ’™ Happy Juneteenth from Sherwood PTO! πŸ’™πŸ’›β€οΈ

Today we celebrate freedom, resilience, and the importance of community. Juneteenth marks June 19, 1865β€”the day enslaved African Americans in Texas learned they were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

At Sherwood, we believe in honoring history while continuing to build a future where every student feels seen, supported, and empowered.

🐏 Ramsey is celebrating with pride and joy as we recognize the strength and contributions of African American communities throughout history and today.

Together, we learn. Together, we grow. Together, we make a difference.
