Preschool is the absolute best place to build relationships, learn to communicate and be in an environment where imagination is always welcome.

Each day the children in our classes ages 1-5 are forming in 4 different areas.

Social /Emotional Development - feelings, relationships and self regulation
Congnitive Development - thinking, problem soliving, language and curiosity
Physical Development- fine motor, self help skills
Gross Motor Development - large muscle movement, balance, cordination

All of these areas are how our brain develops even at a young age. In the photo below you may see just two children playing with a toy but this photo represents far more than that.

This morning a few of our Pre K students were playing together using social/emotional , physical and congnitive skills all while working towards building a marble tower.

At preschool, we love seeing children learn through play! Puzzles, playdough, blocks, and other hands-on toys help little ones build creativity, problem-solving skills, and confidence. We encourage families to offer plenty of these playful opportunities at home, too, and to limit tablet and phone use.
CCP HOT TAKE: The more a toy does, the less your child has to.
Because little is asked of children when they play on phones or tablets, it's better to foster brain development, creativity, perseverance, problem-solving, and confidence through active play! Thank you for supporting your child’s learning and growth. 🤗
