Registration is open for World Seekers, the groundbreaking summer service, learning, and growth program from Gaston Hope in Christ. 13 fortunate elementary students (2nd-5th grade) will have opportunities to meet leaders, learn about our community, and serve others each week this summer in our Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon program.
Applications will be accepted beginning April 13.
Student and Parent Interviews will be held on May 12-14
Final selections will be announced on May 19.

Inclement Weather Information for Tuesday, January 27

Because of the likelihood of hazardous road conditions, Tuesday, January 27 will be a remote learning day for students. It will be asynchronous learning, which means students will work at their own pace at home on assignments provided by their teachers that do not require the use of technology. All school events, including athletics, are canceled for Tuesday.

To ensure our employees’ safety, employees do not have to report to work in person on Tuesday. Only essential staff will be contacted by their supervisors about coming to work on Tuesday.

Gaston Hope in Christ is seeking some wonderful people to help our students grow.
Our Academic Coach will provide 1-3 hours of support, Tuesday-Thursday, helping students learn and grow academically. We probably need someone educated and trained as a teacher for that.
Our Data Manager and Administrator will work 5-12 hours per week managing and analyzing our data and serving as the administrator for our programs and Eastside Church of the Nazarene.
We are looking to start a weekday daytime ESL class in the near future and need someone to teach it in two weekday sessions, 1 1/2 hours each (total of 3 hours). We also need 2-5 substitutes for our tutoring program and to help with our ESL classes.
