Bit of Hope Ranch is a non-profit organization that provides mental health, physical therapy and educational programs. Contact us today! Welcome to the Ranch!

We are also a site for the Mace Energy Method that can be done remotely around the world. Our mission is to Reach, Rescue and Restore hurting children, families and horses through equine assisted therapies. Our strategy is to harness the power of Ranch’s Wellness Wheel to empower people to take control of their mind, body and spiritual wellness by celebrating areas that are thriving and to identify areas that need attention in order to strengthen their sense of identity. Our services include: Couseling and Coaching, Therapeutic and Recreational Riding, Educational Programs for Schools and Businesses, and Ranch Rentals (for parties and weddings)

181 REGISTRATIONS. $27,717 RAISED. OUR BIGGEST YEAR YET! 🎉🐴

A little mud and the threat of hurricane weather couldn’t stop this incredible community from showing up for Bit of Hope Ranch! 🌧️💚

Our 5K Trail Run was one for the books, and we are absolutely blown away by the support that made it possible!

$27,717 raised for our therapy programs! This would NOT have been possible without our generous sponsors, table vendors, local run clubs, volunteers, runners, walkers, and countless community members who rallied behind our mission. Every single one of you played a part in making this our most successful race yet!

As the need for mental health services continues to grow within our community, so does the importance of events like this. These funds go directly back into supporting our on-site therapy programs, allowing us to continue reaching, rescuing, and restoring those who need us most.

And let’s not forget the heartbeat of our ranch — OUR HERD! 🐴❤️ Our horses are essential partners in the healing that happens here every day. Caring for them is just as important as caring for the individuals we serve. Without them, our mission simply wouldn’t be possible.

We’re ready for RACE DAY tomorrow! 🎉🏃‍♀️ As of this morning, we officially have 154 participants registered!! 🤩

🏅 Kids Race: 8:30 AM
🏃‍♀️ 5K Run & 2K Walk: 9:00 AM

Rain or shine, we can’t wait to see everyone! 💚

Race day is almost here, and we are SO excited to welcome everyone to Bit of Hope Ranch this Saturday! 🎉🐴

With our biggest race turnout EVER and some potential rainy weather headed our way, we wanted to share a few important reminders before race day!

🌦️ RAIN OR SHINE! The worst of the incoming storm is currently expected AFTER our event! We’re keeping a close eye on the forecast and will communicate any changes if thunder, lightning, or unsafe conditions arise.

A few other things to keep in mind:

* No strollers on the trails due to uneven terrain and elevation changes.
* No dogs on the property, as we are an active working ranch.
* Check your email! Registered participants have received important race day details.
* Gates open at 7:30 AM! Please do not arrive earlier.
* Parking is in the fields on either side of the driveway. Our amazing volunteers will be there to help direct you!

We’ve worked SO hard to make this an incredible event for our runners, walkers, families, sponsors, and vendors, and we cannot wait to see it all come together!

A little rain won’t dampen our excitement! 💙🏃‍♀️

🐴💚 What a weekend for Bit of Hope Ranch!

Saturday started in Dallas, NC at A Day to Remember alongside Elevation Church, where we had the chance to connect with families and share more about the Ranch.

At the same time, another Ranch crew joined the Walk for Wellness in support of Cancer Services of Gaston County. 💜

Later that afternoon, our pilot runners hit the trails to preview our 5K course and give us feedback ahead of race day — Saturday, October 10! 🏃‍♀️🌿

Then today, Gianna and Amy headed to Charlotte to meet Zoomie Toomie, a run club that brings shelter dogs along for runs to give them exercise, socialization, a break from the shelter, and more exposure to potential adopters. 🐶💛

Busy weekend? Absolutely. But we love getting out into our community, supporting other organizations, building new connections, and sharing the mission of Bit of Hope Ranch.

Christy brings nearly 20 years of experience providing therapy and offers services in both English and Spanish. She especially enjoys working with teens, parents, and caregivers navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, life transitions, family stress, and behavioral challenges.

Having known and experienced Bit of Hope over the years, Christy was drawn to our non-traditional approach to therapy and knew the Ranch was where she wanted to continue serving others. We’re so excited to have her with us! 🐴🌿
