🎒 The first day of school for students in kindergarten through fifth grade is Wednesday, August 19.

Preschool families will be contacted directly by our preschool teacher, Mrs. Singleton, with their child’s starting date.

It looks like our flamingos are making memories wherever they go, and we love seeing all the adventures our Davis Dragon staff are sharing!

Attention creative artists in our community! Would you like your artwork featured on our library cards? We are going to run a contest until Aug. 3 for the design of new library cards. We are almost out, so we can't have the contest go on longer than Aug. 3. We apologize for the short turn around time, but we know our talented community can make it happen. You can submit your idea to the library in person, or send it to our email. A template will be in the comments you can print out to use or stop in and grab one. The dimensions we need to use will be 3.5 inches long by 2.5 inches tall. Please absolutely no use of AI to create your design. We want to showcase local artists. Some ideas we would love to see is Gassaway history, what you love about your town, landscape of our beautiful mountains, historical buildings, etc. No age requirements, we want to see everyone's ideas and designs come to life. Show us what the library means to you.
