In our "Accounting for Small and Medium Enterprises" course, taught by Professor Chabes, all students obtained Intuit QuickBooks certification this semester. Another way IUN is adding value to the business degree by integrating in-demand workforce skills and credentials.

Last week we were honored to have two faculty members present some of their research in the 2026 Celebration of Faculty Research event:

- Dr. Hiller presented research titled "Mindset to Headset: Using Virtual Reality to Practice in the Classroom!"

- Dr. Ryabinin presented research titled "Pairwise Dissimilarity and Risk-Seeking Portfolio Construction."

Allison Chacon presented to our faculty today on her incredible experience studying abroad in Ireland during the Fall 2025 semester at Maynooth University. In addition to sharing with faculty, she presented to our students to encourage them to pursue study abroad opportunities. Allison will be graduating this May with a major in Business Administration and continuing on in our MBA program. Abigail McCampbell did an incredible job presenting at IU's Regionals at the Rotunda event today, where she shared her experiential learning experience consulting for Bam's Yarn Bits with Indiana legislators and leaders. Abigail will be graduating from the School of Business & Economics in May with a major in Business Administration. Way to go Abigail!
