The old man woulda been 96 today. Even though he’s been gone for 3 years, there’s still days i think to call him with a question and have an “oh ya…” moment. I’ve certainly missed him these last few years but he taught me so much before he took that stroll upstairs, and I’ll always be grateful for that! The last few months he’s been on my mind a lot and I’ve started working on something that’ll share the most important things I learned from him 💜
Happy birthday Pop, I’ll see you when I get there!

4 years, 7 concerts, God knows how many rehearsals, both Holst suites, Vesuvius, Candide, Sousa marches, Arabian Dances, and so many more I’m regrettably forgetting.
