This week, we had the privilege of welcoming the James A. Garfield Elementary Class of 2039 as they learned, explored, made new friends, and got their very first taste of what it means to be a G-Man! 🖤💛
A HUGE thank you to our Safety Village Chair, Krista Hardway, for the countless hours of planning, organizing, and coordinating that go into making this week possible. So much happens behind the scenes before our kids ever walk through the doors, and we are incredibly grateful for your time and dedication to making Safety Village such a special experience each year.
And to every single volunteer who gave their time this week, THANK YOU! Whether you helped with activities, guided our little G-Men from place to place, passed out snacks, helped behind the scenes, or jumped in wherever you were needed, you helped make this week one these kids will remember. We truly could not do it without you.
To our newest G-Men, we hope Safety Village helped make James A. Garfield Elementary feel a little more familiar and a lot more exciting. We can't wait to watch you learn, grow, and make so many memories here.
