🎉 WELCOME BACK! 🚂

What a GREAT first day of the 2026–2027 school year at Garrett-Keyser-Butler CSD!

It was wonderful to see our hallways, classrooms and campuses filled once again with the energy and excitement of our students and staff. From reconnecting with friends to meeting new teachers and beginning new adventures, Day 1 was a great reminder of what makes GKB such a special place.

A huge THANK YOU to our teachers, staff, administrators, transportation team, cafeteria staff, families and everyone who worked behind the scenes to make today such a successful start.

Most importantly, welcome back to our students! We’re excited for everything this year has in store and can’t wait to learn, grow, celebrate and make memories together.

This afternoon, Garrett Middle School held an assembly to unveil the new sports championship banners in the gym, but also to honor Kenny Cutler – a current IA in the school – for his deep, passionate commitment to GMS and GHS athletics.

Mr. Cutler is the foremost historian on all things Locomotive and Railroader athletics and his care for the programs, athletes, coaches and schools is always top tier.
