Stop, drop and roll…It’s Fire Safety Week! 🔥

A big part of our Lightbridge Academy curriculum is ensuring students learn the basics of safety practices. Throughout each center’s week of activities, students are able to get hands-on experience fighting “fires”, touring fire trucks, crawling under “smoke”, and learning to call 9-1-1.

🏠 Parent Homework: keep the learning going at home! While fire safety is still fresh in their minds, take time as a family to create or review your home fire safety plan. Identify your exits, choose a meeting spot and practice what everyone should do in case of an emergency.

👶 Need infant care—but don’t need 5 days a week? We’ve got you. 💛

At Lightbridge Academy of Garnet Valley, we’re proud to offer flexible part-time infant care options for families who need something beyond the traditional Monday–Friday schedule.

✨ Choose the schedule that works for YOUR family:
• 2 days per week
• 3 days per week
• 4 days per week
• 5 days per week

And the flexibility doesn’t stop there! You can choose which days your child attends and request to change your days from month to month, based on availability. Perfect for families with changing work schedules, hybrid schedules, part-time work, or simply those who don’t need full-time care.

💗 Our Infant Program
We offer two dedicated infant classrooms designed around your baby’s developmental stage:

🍼 Young Infants: 6 weeks–6 months
🍼 Older Infants: 6–12 months

We make caring for your baby easier by providing:
✔️ Diapers & wipes
✔️ Staff trained and certified in infant care and safe feeding practices
✔️ Support through your baby’s transition to solids
✔️ Comfort with purées, baby-led weaning, or combination feeding
✔️ A nurturing environment where your baby can learn, grow, and thrive

We’re so excited to announce that Lightbridge Academy of Garnet Valley is partnering with Tippi Toes® Dance Company to bring the joy of dance right into our school! 🎀

Our students are getting the opportunity to learn, move, create, and have fun through age-appropriate dance classes designed especially for young children. 💕

Through their Tippi Toes classes, our students are building:

🎶 Rhythm & musical awareness
💪 Gross motor skills, balance & coordination
🧠 Listening skills & following directions
🌟 Confidence & self-expression
🤝 Social skills & taking turns
