“Although you are graduating today, you will be North Rockland Red Raiders for life.”

Those words from Superintendent Dr. Kris Felicello perfectly capture the spirit of these photos, taken moments after the Class of 2026 moved their tassels, tossed their caps into the air, and officially became North Rockland High School graduates.

Filled with joy, pride, excitement, and a few tears, these celebrations marked the culmination of years of hard work and the beginning of a new chapter. No matter where life takes them next, these graduates will always have a home in North Rockland and a community cheering them on every step of the way.

Congratulations, Class of 2026! ❤️🖤🎓

🎓 Congratulations to the North Rockland High School Class of 2026! 🎓

Casarella Field at Cordisco Stadium was packed with proud family members, friends, staff, and community supporters as the Red Raiders celebrated this unforgettable milestone.

Throughout their journey, the Class of 2026 has shown resilience, determination, and the ability to rise above every challenge. As Salutatorian Connor Polizzi reminded his classmates, “We all now have two choices: prove them right, or prove them wrong.” While the road ahead may lead into the unknown, these graduates have proven time and again that they have the strength to get back up, keep moving forward, and come out on top.

Once a Red Raider, always a Red Raider. More to come!❤️🖤

🎓 A day of celebration, pride and new beginnings!

Nearly 650 eighth-grade students from Fieldstone Middle School celebrated their moving up ceremony at Clover Stadium, marking the end of their middle school journey. The stands were filled with proud parents, family members, and friends whose cheers and applause created an unforgettable atmosphere for this special occasion.

Principal Natalie Santopietro delivered a clever and memorable address, creatively weaving the names of each team into her message as adjectives and verbs to encourage students as they take on their next challenge. Superintendent Dr. Kris Felicello followed with a heartfelt message, reminding students to embrace the present and make the most of every opportunity ahead.

“Today, I want to challenge you to do something different: be ready for now. Enjoy each moment. Be the very best ninth-grade version of yourself that you can be next year.”

As they prepare to take the next step and become North Rockland High School Red Raiders, we congratulate the Class of 2030 on all they have accomplished and wish them continued success on the exciting road ahead.

A piece of history came back to life at Farley Elementary School today as the community gathered to unveil a time capsule buried during America’s Bicentennial in 1976.

Led by retired shop teacher Gary Andrews, who helped bury the capsule 50 years ago, the ceremony reunited former teachers, current staff, alumni, and community members. Inside the capsule were treasures from another era, including a letter from James A. Farley, cassette tapes, a phone book, signed gym shorts, baseball cards, yearbooks, report cards, magazines, and photographs of students who once walked the same halls.

As memories resurfaced and artifacts from the past were revealed, one thing became clear: while the faces have changed over the decades, Farley’s spirit of learning, friendship, and community remains exactly the same.

Looking ahead, retiring teacher Molli Olbermann is leading the creation of a new time capsule that will be buried alongside the original. Together, both capsules will wait to tell their stories when they are opened again during America’s Tricentennial in 2076, a remarkable bridge connecting generations of Farley students, staff, and families across a century of history.

Due to the forecast for continued wet weather this evening, our 2026 North Rockland High School Commencement will move to its planned rain date of Wednesday, June 24 at 8 p.m. The ceremony will still take place at Casarella Field at Ralph Cordisco Stadium.

We understand that this change may be disruptive, especially to those who are traveling. Please know that we have made this decision to prioritize safety and to provide the best possible experience for our graduates and guests.

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow evening to celebrate the NRHS Class of 2026.
