I hope everyone is staying dry on this very rainy day! Today we read about Chinese food and set up a dramatic play area where the children can act out cooking. We also had lessons on teen numbers and the large hexagon box for another group. Thank you Omar for bringing in Ritz crackers for snack. He discovered a recipe on the back he wanted to try out so we spread cream cheese, strawberry fruit spread and sliced almonds on the crackers along with fresh strawberries! See everyone tomorrow. Happy Wednesady! Today we learned about silk and started building with Asian architectural blocks. We also charted our zodiac sign so please look yours up so we can add it to our wall. Lots of people have been asking about Valentines Day. If you would like to bring in cards we have 38 children enrolled over the course of a week. Should we have a little party?? Also handwashing is a big priority..we will be making sure everyone washes well upon arrival. Let's stay healthy!! PS. I try to get pictures through out the day but our mornings just fly by!

Happy Monday! Today we learned about the Chinese zodiac, acted out the animals and sequenced numbers through12! Homework!! Look up what year you are and your child so we can make a chart. If you Google " Chinese zodiac calculator" you'll be able to find out your year!
