The end of an era is here... 💙
Today is my last day at LSS, and it's such a bittersweet feeling to be closing this chapter and stepping into a new one.
I am incredibly sad to be leaving this amazing school filled with the sweetest kiddos, the most loving and supportive families, and truly rockstar teachers. This week has been full of goodbyes, big hugs, and lots of tears, but I wanted to say one more heartfelt thank you.
To everyone who has been a part of mine and Asher's journey at LSS—thank you. These past five years have been some of the best, and the memories we've made here will stay with us forever. I am so grateful for every friendship, every smile, every lesson, and every moment.
I tried to capture as many memories as I could with photos of the teachers, the kiddos, and even a few throwbacks from over the years.
LSS will always hold a special place in our hearts. Ash and I love you all so much, and we'll miss you more than words can say. ❤️ Forever grateful.

We had such a great time celebrating our fabulous Waddler teacher, Ms. Angeles today! Angeles we are incredibly lucky to have you as a teacher in our school and it's such a gift watching you take on this pregnancy with so much grace and effortless beauty. We cannot wait to help you welcome your baby girl in a few short weeks and we hope this surprise baby shower reminded you just how loved, valued, and supported you are! 🌸🎀💕

We are incredibly grateful to celebrate Juneteenth as a community and to share with the children and families in our care the importance of acceptance, love, kindness, and equality.

At LSS, we strive to create an environment where every person who walks through our doors feels welcomed, valued, and respected. Juneteenth serves as an important reminder of our nation's history and the ongoing importance of ensuring that all people are treated with dignity and afforded equal opportunities, regardless of the color of their skin.

Today, we proudly recognize and celebrate our African American families, friends, staff, and loved ones whose support, dedication, and contributions help make our LSS community so special. We would not be the center we are today without their commitment, compassion, and presence.

As we commemorate Juneteenth, we encourage everyone to take a moment to talk with their children about the significance of this day and the importance of treating others with kindness, respect, and understanding. Together, we can help build a future where every person is valued, included, and celebrated.

Our kiddos have had SOO much fun the first two weeks of summer camp, from our 2/3s kiddos all the way to our School Agers! They've done so many things like making kites, eating Kona Ice, having Princesses and Princes come out and read stories, going to Celtic Creamery for a tour, going to Aloha Zoo, digging for worms, planting flowers, playing in water beads, and just simply living their best lives. We can't wait to show you all the other fun things we have planned this summer... stay tuned! 🤩☀️

Ms. Katie... your infectious laugh, caring nature, and your passion to make a difference is truly amazing to witness. We are very thankful that you chose LSS to call home and we are looking forward to many more years of celebrating you and watching you do what you do best! 🥳🥰

Thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated with us on Friday night for our Pre-K graduation, it was an absolute blast! It has been such a privilege to watch these children grow, learn, and make the best memories and friendships that will hopefully last a lifetime. Also, a special shout out to our phenomenal Pre-K teachers, Ms. Morgan, Ms. Katie, Ms. Amy and Ms. Tara, without your hard work and dedication our Pre-K program would not be what it is today.
“Every small beginning has a magical ending" and while we are sad to see some of our friends move on to kindergarten, we are hopeful that they will always remember the family and home they have here at LSS. 🥰🥳❤️
