Happy National 4-H Week!
Hancock County Celebrates National 4-H Week
Hancock County is joining communities across the nation in celebrating National 4-H Week, October 4โ10, 2026. To recognize the many contributions of 4-H youth, volunteers, and families, the Hancock County 4-H Teen County Council joined local leaders on September 28 to sign a proclamation recognizing National 4-H Week in Hancock County.
The proclamation celebrates the positive impact 4-H has on youth and the community by providing opportunities for leadership, citizenship, learning, and personal growth. Through hands-on experiences and involvement in their communities, 4-H members develop skills that help them become confident, capable leaders.
Hancock County 4-H encourages families and community members to celebrate National 4-H Week by recognizing the accomplishments of local 4-H members and volunteers and learning more about opportunities to get involved in 4-H.
