Today’s school lunch is bringing some southern cuisine to the cafeteria! We dished out delicious roasted chicken thigh, creamy mashed potatoes, and savory collard greens. 😋

⭐️ Thank you to everyone who attended the first Menu Advisory Committee meeting on the road 🚂

🎡 We were able to let our students, parents, staff and community members experience going through the serving line and tasting our upcoming menu items. 🧠 Educating the families and community about why our menus change and how we decide on upcoming menu items is a big piece of these meetings. 🙋‍♀️

🐔 Big news at Etheridge Elementary School! 🐮

Buddy the Chicken paid a special visit today alongside Tyson K-12 Schools to help us celebrate a delicious new addition to our lunch menu: The Loaded Mashed Potato Bowl!

Students enjoyed custom bowls packed with creamy mashed potatoes, sweet corn, savory gravy, and their choice of crispy Popcorn Chicken or Spicy Beef Bites.

🔥🧠Some of our creative students even took customization to the next level by making their own mini sandwiches, stuffing their chicken and beef bites inside their warm dinner rolls! 🥖😋

🌾 "Cream of the Crop" 2025 Farm Fresh Challenge Champions – Honored for bringing local foods, fresh farm flavors, and agricultural education right to the cafeteria!
