We had an amazing time at the City of Garland, Texas Government Summer Reading Kickoff Party yesterday!☀️📚🍎Garland Library (TX)

We loved connecting with families, sharing information about our Summer Meal Program, and helping make the event such a fun community celebration.

Chef Kevin led interactive cooking demonstrations featuring healthy, family-friendly summer recipes that were both delicious and easy to recreate at home! 👨🏾‍🍳🥗

And the excitement continues — our 2026 Garland ISD Summer Meal Program officially kicks off tomorrow! ☀️🍴☀️

Meals will be available at no cost for all children 18 and under at sites across Garland ISD and throughout the community this summer.
