🌧️ CLASS CANCELED TONIGHT 🌧️
We were hoping the weather might be mild enough today to continue class, but no such luck!
☀️ The sun is shining now, but our outdoor classroom is muddy, flooded and not play friendly today.

🪣 Even though we can’t meet together, it’s a great evening for a little mud and sensory play with your family nest at home!

🌺 Don’t miss our regular Thursday and Saturday classes this week! It will be a fun one!

Hey Explorers!
🌳 Just a quick note to let you know there’s no Tinkergarten this week.

🐝🌸 I will miss playing with you guys this week, but I’ll be sending out a bee-themed at-home lesson so you can still enjoy some outdoor fun together!

We’ll be back to our regular adventures with the Tuesday evening class on May 6th. I can't wait to see you all again soon!

🍁 I know that it’s winter and I especially love all the festive decor happening all around! 🎄

♥️But I also love that you can still see the colors of fall sprinkling through! I was at a house today and just loved the red leaves scatter across their gravel drive! It was so beautiful and I needed to capture it! It took a lot of restraint and reminders of social norms not to start gather them up and put them in my bag! But I resisted! 💪

✨There are so many beautiful and sparkly things to see this time of year, but don’t forget to stop and look around for the magic of nature! It’s still there!✨

We are so thankful for a wonderful community of guides and explorers to learn and grow with each season! This fall was particularly special and ended with an amazing gratitude feast last weekend.

💛Our hearts are full and we can’t wait to see what new discoveries and friends our next season brings!

☀️ 1, 2, 3 … LET’S PLAY! ☀️

🌳This week at Tinkergarten, we activated our behavioral schema by exploring play patterns that support our focus. In other words … WE PLAYED! Explorers dug deep into their play and had the best time!

🐕 Just like a dog (our featured creature), we played in ways we have played many times! So it might have looked like a regular play day to others, but we focused on play patterns that kids all over the world tend to engage in and benefit from: transforming, transporting, connecting, trajectory, enclosing, and rotation.

🐛And peep the tiny friend that came to join our play! After a little research we discovered it was a woolly bear caterpillar! We also learned that they are sometimes used to predict the weather!

🍁Next week is our last class of the season! Join us for a gratitude feast and some fall crafts before we break for the holidays!
