Hello Shugart Families,
As we wrap up the final week of school, I want to thank you for being such an important part of our journey this year. We have shared so many learning experiences, celebrations, and moments of growth, and it has truly been a joy to partner with you in supporting our students.
As your principal, I am incredibly grateful for your continued support and involvement. If your child is returning next year—and we certainly hope they are—we look forward to an even stronger year of partnership and family engagement.
As you head into summer, enjoy your babies! Take time to rest, but also find fun ways to keep learning going—read together, visit the library, explore, and stay active.
Here’s a sneak peek of our draft for the August calendar. Don’t worry—we will be sending friendly reminders and updates adding more events as we continue planning for next year.

Please see the award ceremony schedule below. Parents, we kindly ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes early so we can have everyone seated and ready to begin on time.

Please note there has been an adjustment to the ALE and ECSE award ceremony times due to a scheduling conflict with our Senior Walk.
