REMINDER! Tomorrow, August 26th 2026 is Early Release! Student pick up is 1:10pm!! 💚

Reminder: Early Release Day is Wednesday, August 26

Students will be dismissed two hours ahead of their normal release time.
⏰ Elementary: 1:10 p.m.
⏰ Middle School/Junior High: 1:50 p.m.
⏰ High School: 2:20 p.m.

These early release days on the district calendar are scheduled throughout the school year based on feedback from families and staff and provide valuable planning time for teachers, particularly with the transition away from block scheduling at the secondary level.

Please note: xPlore after-school programs will remain available until their normal closing times.

YEA BERKNER LC! 💚🖤

All four RISD Learning Communities earned a B average across their campuses in the 2026 TEA Accountability Ratings, along with measurable growth across the board. 🎉

Students showed growth in one or more performance levels across every STAAR assessment, including double-digit gains in Biology and Algebra 1 EOC performance.

We’re proud of the progress happening across Richardson ISD and are grateful for the students, teachers, staff and families who continue to make growth possible in EVERY corner of our district.

Way to go, Berkner Learning Community, Pearce Learning Community, Lake Highlands Learning Community, and Richardson Learning Community! 💚💙❤💜
