🎉 TWO YEARS IN A ROW! 🎉

Walnut Glen Academy for Excellence is proud to be recognized as an i-Ready Super Stretch School for the second consecutive year!

During the 2025–2026 school year, 61% of our students achieved their i-Ready Stretch Growth targets. Stretch Growth puts students who started below grade level on a path toward proficiency while helping on- and above-grade-level students maintain advanced proficiency levels.

Thank you to our students, teachers, staff, and families whose hard work made this milestone possible.

Walnut Glen Academy for Excellence has earned another A rating from TEA, with an overall score of 96. We are proud to be the highest-rated campus in Garland ISD and to have earned all 6 possible distinctions.

We are so proud of our Snow Leopards and incredibly grateful for the dedication of our staff and community. Their commitment to student outcomes is what makes Walnut Glen such a special place to learn.

We will continue building on this success as we prepare our students to be academic thinkers, creative thinkers, and responsible world citizens.

Community members from Iglesia Ni Cristo stopped by this morning to deliver school supplies for our students. What an amazing gesture from our neighbors!
