Again so busy surprising GISD staff we got behind on posting. Started yesterday at Liberty Grove ES & Watson ES. Ended deliveries at Spring Creek ES and then headed to the GEF January Board meeting. Long day but a great day!

Yesterday we started at Rowlett HS & Carver ES. We ended the day at Lyles MS. Another day of turning . About to start another great day. Wonder where we will be??

We were so busy delivering grants and staff scholarships yesterday we didn’t even have time to post some pics. We had two groups out celebrating some amazing GISD staff. We started the day at South Garland HS & North Garland HS. Then ended the day at Sam Houston MS. We will rest over the three day weekend and start again on Tuesday!

Day 1 of grant & staff scholarship deliveries is in the books! Ended the day at O’Banion Middle School. We will be back at it tomorrow morning!

Grant and staff scholarship deliveries started early this morning at Lakeview Centennial High School. Be on the lookout for the delivery teams over the next week!

It is not the holidays until you receive the famous pecan pie from WRA Architects! They are a great partner with GEF & Garland ISD.

Friday night the Garland ISD Education Foundation hosted its annual Tinsel & Trivia event. Over 400 people attended. It was a night of fun, food, fellowship…oh and of course trivia. A huge THANK YOU to our Title Sponsor PBK Architects and Tinsel Sponsor Dallas Mechanical Group. We appreciate all our partners and sponsors who helped make this a record setting event all benefiting staff and students in Garland ISD. If you have photes from T&T, be sure to share & tag us!

Whataburger is a great partner of Garland ISD & GEF. They continue to support our students and teachers through their Feeding Success initiative. While GEF has partnered with other campuses and community partners to fund book vending machines, this is the first one funded by Whataburger. Thank you Whataburger for being a leader in education and literacy in local communities.

Employee Giving is in its second week. We are marching toward our goal of $183,000. Thank you Garland ISD Student Services for you continued support!

We are excited to partner with Atlético Dallas to expand GISD’s after school elementary soccer program over the next three years. Thank you Atletico Dallas for investing in our students.

We're proud to team up with the Garland ISD Education Foundation with a $75,000 commitment to expand youth soccer across the district.

Caldwell Elementary School showed us what’s possible and we’re ready to help more students get on the field.
