Dear Scarselli Community, thank you for the privilege of working with you and your children for the last 12 years. I am so grateful for the opportunity and I could not have asked for a better experience and a better school community. Today I am handing off this social media space, a place that gave me the opportunity to showcase all of the great things that happen here at Scarselli. Thank you, and please join me in welcoming your new school administrators, Mr. Spires and Mrs. Desrosiers, and the rest of the CCMES staff as they join our current staff. I’m excited to see the great things that happen at the new Scarselli Elementary School!

Scarselli would like to give a huge shoutout to Douglas Disposal! As we prepare to welcome the CCMES staff and students, we’re doing a lot of cleaning out here and have filled our dumpsters to the brink. We called Douglas Disposal this morning for an extra pick up and they were here within the hour. Thank you, Douglas Disposal, we appreciate you!

Third graders visited the Lahontan National Fish Hatchery in Gardnerville last week where they learned about the hatchery’s work to restore the Pilot Peak strain of Lahontan cutthroat trout to their native waters, including Pyramid Lake, the Lake Tahoe Basin and the Truckee River. How lucky are we to have such an amazing facility so close to us? What a great experience for our students!
