Thanks Annmarie!
Sheri Grove has been a part of our lives since 2011. She began working with my son during his 1st grade year at school, working on social skills, speech and various other treatments to address his ADHD diagnosis. In my opinion, she was one of the critical factors in his success through elementary school and his dismissal of his IEP in 6th grade. Following that my youngest son who is diagnosed with high-functioning autism began to work with Sherri, again, the growth and management/like skills she instilled and worked on with him have continued to be a tremendous asset to his continued growth and learning experience through elementary school. She developed multiple customized schedules and activities to help him navigate the challenges and successes of school.

To add to this, there is a kindness, an ownership (if this is the right word) by her to the success of the amazing and unique students that she works with. I honestly am grateful from the bottom of my heart for the expertise, skill, concern and dedication she has provided to both my sons.

Sheri Grove is a wonderful knowledgeable and experienced speech pathologist. She has worked many years for the district working with children of all ages and ability’s. Sheri worked with my son at both the elementary and middle school and age. Jordan looked forward to his time with her and she was able to keep him focused and engaged through many fun and effective activities. Her passion and compassion shines through. Jordan continuously made great progress. I always appreciated her communication and willingness to share many tips and tricks for us to continue helping him from home. My son starting working with Sheri when he was 5. He stuttered as well as had a diagnosis of anxiety, impulsivity, and ADHD. Sheri used a variety of strategies and gave him skills that he could use to self-monitor at home. His success was absolutely remarkable! Sheri became a staple in my son’s life. At the age of 9 he has been exited from speech services as well as come off his meds. He is performing so well in the classroom due to the strategies he has learned from Sheri that he is has been exited from his IEP. As far as stuttering he only has intermitted disfluencies that he corrects quickly. She did wonders for his self-confidence and academic success. She truly cares about my son and we are forever grateful for what she has done for him.
